At Glacier Guides in Iceland our goal is to exceed our guests expectations by providing an extraordinary experience in an informative and personal way. Our team of dedicated, professional guides combines their wealth of mountain knowledge and local expertise to guide you through the terrain. We are an internationally recognized and American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) accredited guiding operation with our base of operations located in Skaftafell, an oasis under the giant Vatnajokull Glacier in South Iceland, 330 km East of Reykjavik. We are passionate about the environment that we work and play in, we love exploring our local landscape and sharing this with visitors to the area.

Glacier Hike: On Snæfellsjökull glacier, Sólheimajökull glacier, Eyjafjallajökull glacier and Falljökull glacier and Virkisjökull glacier in Skaftafell. Ice Climbing: On Sólheimajökull glacier and Falljökull glacier in Skaftafell. Hiking and Trekking: Hekla volcano, Sólheimajökull glacier, Snæfellsjökull glacier, Eyjafjallajökull glacier and Hvannadalshnjúkur, Hrútfjallstindar, Sveinstindur, Þverártindsegg and Þumall in Skaftafell. Rock Climbing: In Hnappavellir close to Skaftafell. Biking: In Skaftafell. Glacier Lagoon Boat trip: On Fjallsárlón and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Combo Trips: Combination of activities in one day. From Reykjavík and Skaftafell.
